Tashkeel celebrates a decade of art and design with an exhibition of new work commissioned from 16 artists and designers whose careers it has helped shape and, in turn, whose practice has been part of the organisation’s growth.

I finally could finish the wall that I started in Budapest last month, and couldn’t finish due to some construction delays.
Here it is, a still life (or bodegón) artwork inspired by the vanitas paintings of artists like Pieter Claesz, but adding some more color and items from the folk Hungarian culture.

Great times with Annita and the Szines Varos crew, Noemi, Hanna, Peter and Farkas, the guy behind most of these photos. Many thanks!

Back in Dubai doing a few artworks for Toro+KO, a venue in City Walk by chefs Jamie Bissonnette and Ken Oringer.

First round in Budapest.
I was invited by Colorful City (Szinos Varos) to paint this nice wall in a good location in Budapest. Unfortunately there were some construction issues that didn’t let me finish the mural, an artwork inspired in the classic still life paintings by Pieter Claesz, where he explored light and colors, as well as life, death and the limited pleasures of life while we exist.
Since the Colorful City theme for this year is food culture, I found this kinda relatable.

I did an artwork for a hard-to-pronounce festival in a hard-to-pronounce place this past June in Germany: “Umsonst & Draussen” in Würzburg.

The artwork became the identity for the whole festival, it was used on many things along with the custom typography, from posters and wristbands to banners for scenarios, etc.

Maybe one day I can make my own festival and blow people’s minds with my weird taste of music.

My contribution for @muralfestival 2017

A 7-story sweet (and a bit tricky) wall, located at ParcCité (Parc Ave with Sherbrooke) in Downtown Montreal, Quebec

I had a different sketch for this wall that I changed two days before starting for this new idea showing what the nomad life means, what’s ahead and what you leave behind.

I had a blast here, many thanks to the all the people behind MURAL for making it all easy and fun. Good to see familiar faces and get to meet a lot of new ones too.
