No matter what wood was before, it can be whatever you want. Even a reproductive system.

Canopi bowl, located in Tashkeel (Dubai) is the best shit ever.
I’m so lucky to be able to skate this "skate oasis" everyday. Even though transitions and ramps is not my thing I enjoy as a little kid riding this.
I tried to symbolize the ramp when designing the logo, inspired on its shapes and colors, and the trees that surround it.
Then I applied it in different ways on recycled wood to keep its organic and natural look. Viva Canopi siempre!
Solitude is fine but you need someone to tell that solitude is fine
Al Bastakiya is one of the oldest residential areas in the city of Dubai. The locality lies along Dubai Creek and its unique architecture includes narrow lanes and wind towers, as well as the Al Fahidi Fort, the oldest existing building in Dubai.
I painted this guy in one of its amazing corners, chilling like they used to do 100 years back, when Bastakiya was the residence for expatriate families.
Mix of geometrical colorful patterns and black & white freehand stylo.
Yupppp! About to paint a Nayla Romanos’ handmade sculpture for Dubai’s Sikka Art Fair 2013. So excited about this collab!
It will be shown at Tashkeel Bastakiya from March 14th Inshallah!
Cookies is to milk what fries is to Coke. And what markers is to paper.
The Mission of the Minotaur is about the skateboarding seed that is growing up in Dubai through the effort of a bunch of people in Tashkeel, mainly Lateefa and Brad, the guy who sees this wall everyday now.

Research for my next project with Tashkeel out in the streets yo!
Thank you for dropping by Tashkeel for our “Meet the artists” session,
the informal evening we had couple days ago featuring Amartey Golding & myself.
It was a real challenge to talk about my works in english to a bunch of people, but that was great actually despite of the nervous breakdown. We’ve been working closely for the last six weeks with Artist Consultant Rima Kaddissi, elaborating our artistic trajectory through sessions focused on the Thinking Process in the Contemporary Art Practice, and this talk was more or less like our “dissertation”. Now I’m wondering if I passed the course…
Just fooling around in the studio with some sprays and a cardboard…
Typing different egos
Listening to the wood…
Tu y yo tenemos que hablar….

Here is the solution to the lack of beach paddle supplies in Dubai. After searching in seven hundred shops with no luck I gave up and decided to build my own racquet. My friend Amartey built a crazy one too. Tested and approved!
Canopi is the name of the project I’ve been working on these past days, a skate oasis/perfect bowl surrounded by trees located in Tashkeel, Dubai.
Even the bowl is half finished we couldn’t have wait to skate it, also we are still working on making of this one of the most comfortables places to skate, but everything will be ready for Jan 25th, the grand opening!
